THEATRE INCLUDES: Hugh has designed the lighting for over 200 productions and worked for most of the UK’s national companies and extensively on Broadway. He has received many awards for his work including three Olivier Awards, a Tony and a Molière. He is an associate artist at the Old Vic where he has recently lit: Present Laughter, A Christmas Carol, Art, No’s Knife, Groundhog Day (and Broadway), The Caretaker, The Master Builder and Future Conditional. Recent work includes: Mary Poppins, The Height of the Storm, The Birthday Party, Venus in Fur, Dreamgirls (West End); Welcome Home, Captain Fox, Closer (Donmar); Exit the King, The Red Lion (National Theatre); Shrek (New York/West End/UK tour); Don Quixote (Royal Ballet); Tanz Der Vampire (throughout Europe and Russia); Ghost The Musical (London and internationally).
