Since its premiere in Stratford-upon-Avon in 2010, Matilda The Musical has toured North America, Australia, New Zealand, the UK and Ireland, South Africa and China. The first non-English language production opened in Seoul, South Korea in 2018 where it has just played its second season.

This month, Matilda will also play for the first time in Japan at the Orb theatre in Tokyo, before moving to Osaka at Umeda Arts centre in May, Tel Aviv in August and Dubai Opera in October.
