Matilda The Musical is the perfect treat for students of all ages and is a fantastic introduction to theatre. It is particularly suitable for students of English, Drama & Theatre Studies and has strong curriculum links to Literacy, PSHE and SEAL.
For teachers and students we have created a new online resource to give schools insights into the process of staging this award-winning musical. As well as teacher notes full of ideas for how to prepare your students for seeing the production, it also offers a programme of work which aims to give young people the inspiration, confidence and skills to develop their own writing. This interactive site contains filmed interviews with the show’s creators, Dennis Kelly and Tim Minchin, together with comprehensive teacher notes for use in the classroom.
