Matilda celebrates 1000 performances

Sunday 23rd March 2014 saw the 1000th performance of the Royal Shakespeare Company’s production of Matilda The Musical at London’s Cambridge Theatre.

RSC Executive Director Catherine Mallyon presented the company with a celebratory cake prior to the show, which was attended by guests including Melanie Chisholm, Chris Moyles, Ben Forster, Will Mellor, Greg James, Indira Varma, Edith Bowman, Daniel Mays, Greg Wise, Isy Suttie, Elaine Cassidy, Gemma Cairney and Roald Dahl’s wife, Liccy.
