Matilda opens to rave reviews on Broadway

Matilda The Musical opened on Broadway last night to cheers and a full standing ovation. It has received universal praise from the critics with the Chicago Tribune hailing it ‘far and away the best new musical of the Broadway season’ and the New York Times describing it as ‘the most satisfying and subversive musical ever to come out of Britain’.
