Sophia Goodman, who shares the title role of Matilda, joined young aspiring footballers on stage at the Cambridge Theatre, London to send a message of good luck to England’s Lionesses ahead of their match against Nigeria on Monday 7 August. Featuring an exclusive performance of When I Grow Up, the Women’s team also shared stories of their journey to becoming professional footballers.
