US National Tour opens in Los Angeles

The US National Tour of Matilda The Musical opened at the Ahmanson Theatre in Los Angeles last night to rapturous applause.

With the title role played on the night by Mia Sinclair Jenness,  and shared through the run with Gabby Gutierrez and Mabel Tyler, the show continues performances until 12 July. Lyricist and composer Tim Minchin attended the opening, along with guests including Jack Black and Roald Dahl’s daughter Lucy Dahl.
